California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Notice

This notice is for California residents. It supplements our Privacy Policy and describes how Homes.Now (operated by DotNow Labs LLC, doing business as Homes.Now) collects, uses, and discloses personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA").

We do not sell or share personal information (as those terms are defined under the CCPA), and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

1. Notice at Collection

In the last 12 months, we may have collected the categories of personal information below. The specific information we collect depends on how you use Homes.Now (for example: creating an account, publishing a property page, uploading files, collaborating with others, subscribing to a plan if offered, contacting us, or visiting a public page).

1.1 Categories of personal information we collect

• Identifiers: name, email address, username/handle, IP address, and similar identifiers.
• Commercial information: subscription plan details and billing records. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by Homes.Now.
• Internet or other electronic network activity: pages viewed, clicks, device/browser data, timestamps, and referral information.
• Cookies and similar technologies: used only when needed for essential functions (such as security and authentication). We do not use advertising cookies.
• Geolocation data (approximate): rough location derived from IP address.
• Property, page, document, and content information: information you add to Homes.Now, such as property details, page content, uploaded media, uploaded files, inquiry workflow settings, collaborator details, messages, scheduling details, and related materials you choose to publish or store. This may include transaction documents, disclosures, IDs, financial statements, tax documents, and loan-related materials that you or your authorized users upload.
• Professional or employment-related information: business details you provide in connection with your account or collaboration settings (for example, brokerage details, business role, or license number, if you choose to provide it).
• Communications: emails or messages you send us (for example, support requests).

1.2 Sources of personal information

• Directly from you: when you create an account, set up a page, upload content or files, subscribe, collaborate, or contact us.
• From your device/browser: when you visit or use Homes.Now, including public pages, inquiry flows, and logged-in product features.
• From service providers: for example, payment processors provide confirmation and billing details about transactions (not full payment card numbers).

1.3 Business or commercial purposes for collection

• Provide and operate Homes.Now (including account creation, authentication, page publishing, inquiry workflows, and collaboration features).
• Deliver public pages and content you choose to make public.
• Process subscriptions and maintain billing/account records, if and when paid plans are offered.
• Customer support and communications (including service, product, account, and marketing messages where permitted by law).
• Security, abuse prevention, and platform integrity.
• Analytics and service improvements.
• Legal compliance, enforcement, and dispute resolution.

1.4 Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-first analytics on some marketing pages (Simple Analytics, which does not use cookies). We also use first-party analytics within Homes.Now to improve the Platform and provide analytics features to account holders. We do not use advertising cookies.

1.5 Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We delete or anonymize data when no longer required.

2. Sensitive personal information

We may collect sensitive personal information such as account log-in credentials, session identifiers, and information contained in files you upload, such as government ID numbers, financial account information, tax information, and other sensitive document contents. We use this information only as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, maintain security, authenticate users, process and display user-directed content, and prevent fraud. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

3. Sales, sharing, and targeted advertising

Homes.Now does not sell personal information. Homes.Now also does not "share" personal information (as defined under the CCPA) and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Disclosures for a business purpose

In the last 12 months, we may have disclosed personal information for business purposes to the following categories of recipients:

• Service providers: vendors that help us operate the Platform (for example: hosting, analytics providers (including Simple Analytics), email providers, and payment processors).
• Legal and safety recipients: if required to comply with law or protect the rights and safety of Homes.Now, our users, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale/transfer of assets.

Depending on the context, these disclosures may involve the categories listed in Section 1.1 (such as identifiers, commercial information, internet/network activity, and property/page information and content).

5. Your rights under the CCPA

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents may have the right to:

• Know/access: request information about our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information, and request access to personal information.
• Delete: request deletion of personal information.
• Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of sale or sharing: opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (not applicable because Homes.Now does not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA).
• Limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information: request limits on certain uses of sensitive personal information (Homes.Now only uses sensitive personal information for permitted purposes described above).
• Non-discrimination: not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

6. How to submit a request

Email [email protected] with your request. If self-service account deletion is available in your account, you may also use those settings. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. We aim to respond within 45 days (and may extend where permitted by law).

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent's authorization and may also require you to verify your identity directly.

7. Children

Homes.Now is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. We will post the new effective date at the top and, if changes are material, provide additional notice.
